Dr. Chua Lee Suan is currently an associate professor in the Department of Bio process and Polymer Engineering, School of Chemical and Energy Engineering, Faculty of Engineering in University Teknologi Malaysia. She is also a research fellow in the Institute of Bio product Development since 2006. Her research scopes are mainly focused on LC-MS/MS based metabolomics, phytochemical profiling, herbal extraction & standardization, and honey & honey bees related product development. She has many research contracts with private sector, and providing consultancy for many herbal related companies. Her international publication (reviews, research articles and book chapters) can be accessed from google scholar and research gate with H-index 24. Her active involvement in research activities can also be seen from her commitment as journal reviewer and editor for several well-known international journals. She is often invited as a plenary and keynote speaker for international conferences in chemistry. She is also a registered chemist from the Malaysian Institute of Chemistry, and a technical assessor of Standards Malaysia for ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation in chemical testing laboratories.
