Traditional Chinese Medicine is a form of medicine with a history of 2500 years which includes various methods of herbal medicine, acupuncture, massage and exercise, and diet. TCM is more likely to be used in China. The basic belief behind the TCM is the ‘vital energy’ of the body is flowing through the body. Any imbalance in the flow of energy will result in the disease and illness. Many people integrate TCM with their conventional medicinal practices into their healthcare. Acupuncture and other Traditional Chinese Medicines are considered as alternative medicine today.
